I am a photo editor and photographer, based in New York City. As someone who has always complemented her undergraduate education in engineering with art throughout her college years, I find it significant to build upon that photography/video knowledge in my life. For that reason, I studied photography at ICP (International Center of Photography), and graduated in June 2017.
My photographs are tangible examination of presence, motivation and identity. My recent pieces are concerned about how internal space and photography overlap and interact with each other through observation. I use different objects as the common denominators of our personal environment. Altering them is a way of questioning the attitudes, habits and unwritten rules which have formed that environment and our behavior within it.
I see the power of visual tools to tell a story correctly and appealingly. Besides the photography and video projects that I develop, I am interested in choosing, sequencing and editing images as a photo editor.
